A native of the east coast, Dr. Zhang graduated from the University of Rochester in New York with a Bachelor’s in both Electrical Engineering and Developmental Biology. He then pursued a medical degree from the same university. After his general surgeon training, he enjoyed a year with Cleveland Clinic in a fellowship that focused on colorectal surgeries.

Dr. Zhang has been trained under internationally renowned surgeon Dr. Seymour Schwartz and Dr. Victor Fazio with Cleveland Clinic. After another fellowship training in Erie, Pennsylvania, Dr. Zhang joined Nevada Surgery and Cancer Care out west in Las Vegas, Nevada. An expert in both colon and rectal surgery, Dr. Zhang strives to educate patients about the importance of colorectal health while provided quality and specialized care. He’s noted as having a high level of trust with patients and is complimented for his explanation of medical conditions as well as listening to patient questions and concerns.
